By way of introduction, Sister Edmonds and I extend warm Christian
greetings to you all in theprecious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We thank the Lord for giving us the opportunity to share our burden
for the Mandarin-speaking Chinese people with you. In our present
generation we have seen this nation of one-fifth the world's population
ruthlessly writhing back and forth, bound by twenty five centuries
in chains of false doctrines and political turmoil, frantically
searching for its destiny. We believe it is to hear the the message
of everlasting salvation through the knowledge of Jesus Christ in
the power of His Spirit.
Sister Edmonds and I count it a great privilege to be your extended
hand for souls in a far away land. Constantly, we have people of
all ages, many in their sixties and seventies, who have never walked
through a church all their life. Can you imagine that??? It's just
not fair that they not hear the gospel before they die.
Help us in these last days , Oh Lord, to put forth our best effort
to stand in that sinful gap that separates man from God and intercede
in word and deed on behalf of those for whom He bled and died. I
say to you with tears in my eyes that my greatest fear is to one
day see the Lord Jesus look upon me in judgement, wagging his head
in astonishment and amazement because of my willful neglect of duty
to take the gospel to my fellow man. We promise to do our part,
as you do yours with support and prayers. May God Bless you all. |
